Garden Hose Hoopla
Supplies:
- 1 piece of old garden hose
- 1 small stick or branch
Instructions:
This one is easy-peasy. Take a section of garden hose and put a 3-inch long piece of branch in one end. It must fit very snugly. Curve the hose around and put the open end over the exposed piece of branch. You now have a great throwing hoop. Other garden hose options include tying a sheet of nylon around the hoop to create a flying disc and simply knotting a piece of hose.

Rag Knot Chew Toy
Supplies:
- 3 adult large washed T-shirts
- sewing machine
- scissors
- Take 1 large adult t-shirt, the more colours the better, but no grease or paint stains. Cut off at the armpits, use the bottom of the shirt. Without cutting the seams, cut 9 strips across.
- Snip the seam now. If you do a couple of these at the same time, you can mix and match the colours.
- Take 3 strips of choice by colour, pin at the top so that you have 3 sets of these, run a double stitch across the end.
- Tie a tight knot at the top, then start braiding it to the end.
- Double stitch the end on all sets.
- Take the 3 braided sets and find the centre of all, stitch them, then start to braid together.
- Knot the ends again, and then knot the centre. It is bulky, but this is what the dog wants. With the human scent all over it, the dog will find it is a favourite family toy.

Muffin Tray Madness
Supplies:
- 12 Tennis balls (choose various sizes and colours)
- Muffin tray
Instructions:
1. Place various quantities of dog food at the bottom of each muffin hole.
2. Place 1 tennis ball on top of each hole in order to cover the food.
Let the dog play with the game a few times and then start asking him to remove the tennis ball you point to first. This will make the game a little harder, plus, it will develop your dog's attention and focus skills. Metal trays can be scary for certain dogs this is why we decided to use a microwavable tray. Plus, the round tray makes it a bit easier to go around and pick balls out.
This game is extremely challenging for ball obsessed dogs.
